You learn the company only if you are invited to their interview. About the role You will reduce real risk in a system that is already running. Expect cloud accounts, application access, vendor tools, and engineers who need a secure path that they will actually follow. You investigate, you fix, and you explain the residual risk in plain language. What you will do - Review architecture and changes for access control, secrets, exposure, and data handling. - Harden cloud and application configuration. Close findings with owners and a due date, not a slide. - Build or tune detection for the events that matter, and cut noise that trains people to ignore alerts. - Lead incident response for security events: contain, recover, and write what happened. - Assess vendors and integrations before they touch production data. - Define practical controls for logging, least privilege, and backup that the team can operate. - Report risk to engineering and business leads without hiding behind jargon. What we look for - Years in a security engineering, cloud security, or detection role on production systems. - Hands-on experience with a major cloud, identity, and logging stack. - A habit of verifying controls, not only writing them. - Clear English for incidents and for written risk notes. - Judgment about severity. You do not treat every finding as an emergency, and you do not bury a real one. - A résumé with environments you protected and incidents or programs you owned. How you join - The engagement is full-time and remote, from Latin America, with overlap on U.S. business hours. - The working language is professional English: meetings, writing, and review. - Pay is in USD.
