Who we are AI ScienTechs is an engineering partner. We introduce vetted Latin American engineers to U.S. companies. This page describes the work. It does not name the client. You learn the company only if you are invited to their interview. About the role You will shape how a real workflow feels, from the first sketch to the shipped interface. You work beside product and engineering. You are expected to test your assumptions with users or with the people who do the job today, and to specify the design tightly enough to build. What you will do - Frame the user, the job to be done, and the constraints before drawing screens. - Produce flows, structure, and interface design for the cases that matter, including errors and empty states. - Prototype the risky parts and test them. Change the design when the test disagrees with you. - Specify behavior, content, and edge cases so engineering is not guessing. - Work inside the existing product language. Extend it when it fails. Do not invent a second visual system without a reason. - Review the built result against the design and close the gaps that users will feel. - Present the work in English to U.S. stakeholders, including what you chose not to design. What we look for - A portfolio of product design that shipped, with your role made explicit. - Evidence of research or evaluation, not only polished mockups. - Fluency in a current design tool and in collaborating inside engineering tickets. - Care for content, states, and accessibility, not only the happy path. - Professional English for critiques and written rationale. - A résumé and portfolio links that a reviewer can open. How you join - The engagement is full-time and remote, from Latin America, with overlap on U.S. business hours. - The working language is professional English: meetings, writing, and review. - Pay is in USD.
