You learn the company only if you are invited to their interview. About the role You will decide what must be true before a release, and you will check it. The team needs a QA engineer who finds the failures that matter, automates the ones that repeat, and explains risk when a release should wait. You are in the delivery conversation early, not only at the end. What you will do - Read the change and name the risks before test execution starts. - Design checks for the user journeys, the data, the permissions, and the failures around them. - Automate regression that the team will actually maintain. Leave one-off exploration as exploration. - File defects with steps, evidence, severity, and the user impact. - Pair with engineers on reproducibility. A bug report that cannot be followed is unfinished. - Report release readiness in plain language: what was tested, what was not, and what you would not ship. - Improve the test environment and the data so the next cycle is faster. What we look for - Years testing software on a team that releases to real users. - Skill in both exploratory testing and automated checks. - Experience with APIs, browsers, and at least one automation tool you can defend. - Judgment about severity. You do not block a release for taste, and you do not waive a data-loss bug. - Professional English in bug reports and release notes. - A résumé that shows products you tested and the kind of risk you were trusted with.
